A Chinese-born American received a four year prison sentence for stealing trade secrets from Motorola. Hanjuan Jin, a Motorola employee, had more than 1000 confidential Motorola documents when she was stopped at the airport. (Aug. 29)

'China Shadows' (31 minutes) explores the memories of seven peoples' first trip to 'China', which for them might mean their first trip to Taiwan, their first trip to Hong Kong, or their first trip back to mainland China. These experiences also emerge from different starting points - Thailand, America, the Republic of China (Taiwan), England, and Belarus. The portraits show how China has shaped individuals and families in fundamental ways.

“The computer can receive EEG signals via Bluetooth and convert them to specific commands to control the AR drones through WiFi,” a presenter explains.
To get the drone to raise or to land, a user would need to “think left” hard. “Think left lightly” if you want to rotate clockwise and “right” if you want it to lurch forward. Give it a lift in the air by thinking “push.” And imagine clenching it if you want to bring it back down to earth.
But moving around is not the only task it can do. Remember how they tell you to avoid blinking when taking photos? Well here it’s the opposite: blinking is the command that tells the drone to photograph its environs.
